Dr. Tabak’s New Website

When asked what was needed in his optometric practice’s new website, Dr. David Tabak’s top 3 requests were 1. more user friendly, 2. ability to update and add posts (similar to Facebook), and 3. an overall update to the site’s appearance.

With this in mind, we designed a new site that is open, airy and light. Working together we identified and removed content that was not necessary to the site, making the appearance less cluttered. The text was made a little larger than usual for easy reading.

The telephone number is front and center on all pages; easily accessible for patients. The home page has links and buttons to all the pertinent information an existing or new patient may need: office hours, location, ability to request an appointment online, insurance information and more.

Meet Daisy — Therapy Dog

On the home page there is even a link to “Meet Daisy,” the Tabak’s therapy dog. Check her out — she is very cute as well as a hardworking dog!

Dr. Tabak’s site was built using WordPress Content Management System. This means that users without any technical knowledge or coding experience can update and maintain the website. And add posts, images, links!

A Quick Learner!

Kathy Tabak has been posting news articles on the website after a short training session, and she is doing a great job! Her articles are always interesting.

Read her latest post about animal vision for sharks and rats and cats and dogs.

Images and a corresponding color scheme pulled all the content together. The site is easy on the eyes (pun intended), easy to find information, and takes advantage of many of the great features WordPress has to offer.

A Mobile Friendly Site

One other important feature of the website is that it is mobile friendly. This means that the content scales down nicely to fit on tablets and smartphones, and is easy to navigate on those devices.

So we covered all Dr. Tabak’s requirements: user friendly, ability to update and post articles, and overall improvement in appearance. Visit Dr. Tabak’s new site now! I think you will agree it looks great!
